Aside from status notifications about your packages via email, now you can also configure your account to receive notifications via text message to your cellular phone!
If you would like to receive notifications to your cellular phone, follow this steps:
1. Go to the administration page for your account and select notification preferences. Click here.

If you would like to receive notifications to your cellular phone, follow this steps:
1. Go to the administration page for your account and select notification preferences. Click here.
(If you have not been authenticated, the authentication page will appear. Enter your account number and password.)
2. Under “Select how you prefer to receive the notifications” find the SMS section and click where it indicates to enable.
(Remember, that an annual fee is applied to this service. For more details consult the Terms and Conditions)
3. Be sure that the cellular telephone number listed under SMS is correct.
IMPORTANT: Only include your cellphone number whithout the international/country code.
4. Done! From now on you will receive notifications related to your account on your cellular phone.
Meaning of your status
1- Approval of charge to a Credit Card in Miami and dispatch to your country:
This signifies that your package has been received at your TransExpress address in Miami, that all the documentation is correct and allows us to ship to your country once the shipping costs have been charged to your credit card.
2- Package detained at TransExpress in Miami
This signifies that your package has been received at your TransExpress address in Miami, but for some reason does not have all the required payment or documentation and needs to be resolved or approved by you for it to be sent to your country.
3- Costs for Import Taxes and Customs
This status applies to High Value packages according to each country's national policy. Basically, it gives you the value at cancellation so that it may be taken out of customs prior to its final destination. This message informs you of the payment procedures.
4- In final stages of delivery
This signifies that your package is in the hands of delivery personnel who will deliver to your home if this at the location you chose. You have the choice of having the package delivered to the TransExpress Shipment Center.
