Terms and Conditions

TransExpress is an e-commerce logistics company specializing in the Global Postal Boxes service.  Global Boxes is a TransExpress branded service that provides cardholders with the ability to shop online from U.S stores and receive orders worldwide. TransExpress assigns customers with a physical address in the U.S to ship orders to; these are then shipped to the international address on file.

 

The service provided by TransExpress includes handling of packages, international shipment, customs procedures and delivery to your home or business address.

 

The service offered by TransExpress consists of the following:

  1. The service offered by TransExpress is provided by TransExpress, Inc. This is an agreement between TransExpress, Inc and the Customer. TransExpress, Inc assigns the Customer a physical address in the U.S; the assigned address is for the exclusive use of the Customer.
  2. Registration to the Global Boxes service is free. The Customer is only responsible for fees concerning the shipment of merchandise that apply to the specified country of destination. Fees vary for every country.
  3. The basic service provided by TransExpress includes the receiving of parcels, packages and freight on behalf of the Customer, processing and classification, issuing of export documentation, international shipping, customs clearance and home or business delivery. This does not include mail.
  4. Upon registering for our service, the Customer authorizes TransExpress, Inc. to automatically charge his/her credit card with the annual Registration Fee as well as with all costs associated with the handling of parcels, packages, and freight addressed to the Customer’s U.S address. The Customer also authorizes TransExpress to charge any and all costs incurred while handling the Customer’s shipments according to rates set by each country. All information regarding rates for each country may be found on our website www.transexpress.com .

The Customer also authorizes TransExpress to charge his/her credit card with all costs related to the handling of packages including: customs duties and taxes, warehousing fees, custom brokerage fees, special documentation fees, special handling fees, or any other cost related to the shipment of the Customer’s packages.

  1. The cost of a package by dimensional weight applies only when the dimension of a shipment, calculated as follows:

[Length x Width x Height (in inches)] divided by 166, is higher than its physical weight. For more information on this refer to our website: http://support.transexpress.com/9 .

  1. The units used for billing a Customer’s credit card are US Dollars and pounds (lbs). The conversion rate used from pounds to kilograms is: 450 grams =1 lb. 
  2. In case of damage or loss, TransExpress insures all shipments at no additional cost at U.S $9/lb up to a maximum of $100.00. The Customer has the option of purchasing insurance at an additional rate. If the Customer wishes to do so, he/she must request the additional insurance by filling out a Ticket on our website http://support.transexpress.com/ . The additional insurance is subject to certain restrictions.
  3. The rates listed on our webpage http://www.transexpress.com/usa/rates , are subject to change without prior notice. TransExpress will do its best to communicate any changes in these rates to the Customer.
  4. TransExpress Inc, is the provider of the TransExpress service and is responsible for its quality. Any complaints can be directed to the provider by filling out a ticket online http://support.transexpress.com, or by contacting your local representative at (305)-562-9255.
  5. TransExpress, Inc. assumes no responsibility regarding the quality, quantity, brand, or any other aspect of the merchandise or services purchased or received by the Customer to be transported through the service. Any complaints or dispute should be settled directly by the vendor or the commercial establishment from which the Customer obtained the merchandise or service.
  6. It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to keep all information current, particularly credit card and delivery information. It is the Customer’s obligation to notify TransExpress of any changes to credit card or delivery information. Failure to keep the above information current may cause delays in delivery and/or additional costs in handling.
  7. The service provided by TransExpress is not meant for illegal purposes. TransExpress, Inc works with U.S and foreign government agencies to identify and legally stop individuals, institutions, or companies from using the service to commit anything illegal.
  8. TransExpress, Inc reserves the right to detain any merchandise that is suspected or identified to have been acquired through a fraudulent or illegal transaction. Any information obtained in these cases is provided to local and international authorities that monitor and work to combat fraud online.
  9. TransExpress, Inc. reserves the right to dispose in the manner it sees fit of any and all goods and merchandise that are held for a period of six months since first received in its facilities, and mail, catalogues and magazines held for a period of thirty days. The Customer is responsible for any cost incurred in the returning of mail and disposing of goods and services.

Freight costs are automatically charged to the Customer’s credit card. Shipments for delivery in regions or cities other than capital cities pay additional costs. For more details refer to the “Rates” tab on our website: http://www.transexpress.com/usa/rates.

 

Any charges made by TransExpress for its service are independent of fees by banks, financial institutions or credit card providers charged for transactions made abroad.

 

Restricted Products:

 

Hazardous Materials:

Perfumes, spray cans, inks, dry ice, chemicals, perishables, merchandise considered flammable, corrosive or explosive MAY NOT be shipped through TransExpress. TransExpress also prohibits the transportation of: weapons, weapons for hunting, “Paintball” and/or “Airsoft” guns, accessories for personal defense such as: automatic discharge weapons, gases and products like such. TransExpress does not transport any pornographic materials restricted by customs regulations in the destination countries. TransExpress also restricts the transportation of cash money, jewelry, alcoholic beverages, fire arms and munitions, perishable goods, animals, medicine and tobacco (unless they comply with import regulations in the destination country). All merchandise of this nature that is received in our facilities in Miami will be returned to the original sender or appropriately disposed of. All costs incurred in its handling will be charged to the Customer’s credit card on record.

 

Premium Service-

Additionally, TransExpress offers a Premium Service that in addition to packages, allows you to receive all types of mail, important documents such as account balances, subscriptions to magazines, newspapers, etc, at an annual rate of $30.00.

 

  1. The Global Boxes Premium Service is provided by TransExpress, Inc. This is an agreement between TransExpress, Inc and the Global Boxes Premium Service Customer (you). TransExpress, Inc will assign the Customer a physical address and a P.O Box address in the U.S; this address is for the exclusive use of the registered Customer.
  2. The Premium Service includes: receiving mail, parcels, packages and freight on behalf of the Customer, processing and classification, issuing of export documentation, international shipping, customs clearance and home or business delivery. Correspondence received in the P.O Box address will be mailed twice a month to the country of destination.
  3. Upon registering for our service, the Customer authorizes TransExpress, Inc. to automatically charge his/her credit card with the annual Registration Fee of $30.00 as well as with all costs associated with the handling of parcels, packages, mail and freight addressed to the Customer’s U.S address. The Customer also authorizes TransExpress to charge any and all costs incurred while handling the Customer’s shipments according to rates set by each country. All information regarding rates for each country may be found on our website www.transexpress.com .  The Customer also authorizes TransExpress to charge his/her credit card with any and all costs related to the handling of packages and mail including: customs duties and taxes, warehousing fees, custom brokerage fees, special documentation fees, special handling fees, or any other cost related to the shipment of the Customer’s packages.

  1. By having a mailing address in the U.S, the Customer is subject to receive unsolicited mail at his/her P.O Box address. The Customer, however, is responsible for all costs associated with the handling of this mail to his/her country of destination.

  5. The renewal of the subcription to the TransExpress Global Boxes Premium service is done automatically for periods of a year. Within 30 days of expiration, TransExpress will notify the Customer that his/her subscription is about to expire and that his/her credit card on file will be billed with the renovation fee. If the Customer no longer wishes to continue receiving Premium Service, he/she should indicate so on the designated box and return the e-mail to TransExpress, Inc to avoid additional charges to his/her credit card. 
  6. The annual subscription fee is non-refundable.
  7. Signing this agreement means the Customer accepts all the Terms and Conditions associated with the Global Bxes Premium service and authorizes TransExpress to charge its credit card with the annual Premium Service rate, handling, transportation and any other costs that apply.
